i love love love this head!!!! it does have a look of a gargoyle to it~i will have to do some research about this fountain and its meaning and artist~i can't wait for the autumn colors to touch the town green and take more pic's of this beauty~
there is not a lot of nice historic things left in my town~well not that i think anyway...
but this is a fountain on our green~and i find it just tooooo cool!! for years it remained dry~i have no idea when it started to flow again~i remember being fascinated with it as a kid~just as much as i do today
