this beautiful carpet of red is from my neighbors yard i think it is a red maple or japaneese maple~it may be the same thing~ i am not sure~but that is about the last of the autumn beauty for this year~and what a spectacular show it was~ thanks mom nature :)

That looks great! My daughter says they shouldn't be raked, it looks too pretty. I agree!
The Japanese maples have left a wonderful carpet of red..love those trees, we have them here too.

In the spring our Kwanzan Cherry tree drops it's pink petals and I always have to get the camera out, those red leaves are perfection!

Such beautiful leaves Tammy! The leaves here turn gold but your red leaves are delicious! Wish we had some red leaves here.
