i love the moon esp when its full or just a beautiful cresent~ all phases really~so there i was the other nite laying on my back in the driveway just clicking away~hehee let me tell you that driveway was COLD~but it was so worth it to see the beauty of a moon lit autumn sky~i wonder if it was the harvest moon?

I think the harvest moon is in Sept, and this one is called the Hunter's or Blood Moon, because enough of the leaves have fallen to hunt at night, plus the animals are about getting some last snacks before it gets really cold.
And, as you saw, it is REALLY light out!
i think you are right gypsy-we do have a harvest moon festival here in september-
