lisa @ www.pursuingart.blogspot.com asked about the technique i used on the arch~ it is torn strips of tissue paper- magazine fish images~ the mermaid is a clip art image (i'll share it if anyone wants it) modpodge and sponged on lumiere paints and gold leaf on the edge

I wondered if you had used paper, but I was curious if you had used tissue! It adds so much texture and I love that!
