new atc~the thief

this is an atc for my paper imagery group on yahoo~
the challenge was for using dots-polka dots so i used a gold leaf pen and made polka dots around mona lisa's face in the window my favorite thing about this atc is the back ground i sanded the playing card and then gobbed on gesso and used a large swirl stamp and stamped into the gesso-CLEAN YOUR STAMP WELL!! after it dried i used a few different colors of lumiere paints~ i like the raised parts that i went over with some luminere gold on my finger~i love playing with paint and paper ~ i am not a fan of 'cutesy' i like odd off beat electic~

Hi Tammy,Well I am back in Blog-Land!!!!!
I thought it was about time I checked out what you are up to!!! Nice work here girl.... I like the way you used the gesso.... Lots of feeling and technique here.
BTW where do you get the writings you use. Is is ribbon or is it letters you cut out from something.? I got some kids books on the sale table at the library to use.
Glad to see you back. Hope you are feeling better now..
xoxo

Love the ATC Tammy and I really like the texture from the gesso and highlighting the tips with gold paint! Really beautiful! I, too, am not a fan of cutesy...more eccentric and eclectic!

~The deer that was caught in the headlights!!! LOL~ ;-)
