gothic arch~the siren

this is called a gothic arch-not very goth is it! but its the arch shape i wanted to try it measures 4x6 and took me just about all day for a couple of reasons-1) i am not very organized and 2) i had to pull out and find stuff that i haven't used in a very long time but it was a good day and i enjoyed myself switching gears next thing to learn is how to work my scanner i think its time to pull out the instrucion book!!
about time too since the scanner/printer is now over a year old and i still don't know how to use it properly :)
and since its 12:43 i am off to put line dried sheet on the bed and go to sleep~ nite :)
oh yea if you double click you can see it better!

Hi Tammy,

I'm glad to see your back again! I do understand how life gets in the way sometimes!

I love this piece...it is beautiful! Is it a collage of paper and tissues?
Your heart art and what you share are always fun to see!

I hope you aren't offended, but I tagged you on my blog! Tammy, don't feel pressured that you have to do this, you don't! I just was thinking of you and I know if you did it, you would be able to keep the fires burning! ;-)

Hugs from Oregon...Lisa ;-)

Holy Cow girl - this is a winner! I love this -- the shimery quality, the colors, the texture -- awesome. Hey, get out your machine and add some outline stitching in metallic thread to it. I can't help it -- I'm obsessed - I feel the need to add thread to everything -- and thread would really compliment this stunning piece.

Tammy this arch is wonderful! I love all the layers of the papers! The paper looks like the ocean moving. Wonderful execution!

Lovely! The layers and bands are so interesting. I too am curious about the techniques you used. I'm glad you took the time to dust off the ole scanner so we could enjoy your siren.
