i had the most amazing humming birds this year~but they have now migrated south~i will miss them and watching their antic's~i watched two males squaring off at the feeder~never knew they hissed!!
this is a female~i have the very small ruby throat's the males have a red patch under the chin~sometimes its such a deep red that it looks purple:)

These little birds are wonderful aren't they. We only had a few this summer in the flowers. I didn't hang the feeders since the yellow jackets clump on it abd the birds can't get on!
BTW My Blog and the Etsy is not coming up on your blog. It says error ??? Thought you might want to know :0)

is yoour hummingbird feeder in your garden? mine is hanging from the front porch-less bees-and i keep it free of the nectar on the outside as much as possible~i don't know why your etsy and blog aren't working either?? they were the other day~somthing to try to fix today:)
