oh is she tooo cool or what!!! i found her yesterday when i was putting my garden to bed for the winter~its a 'praying mantis'~i moved her to my neighbors huge mum plant~i didn't want to hurt her while i was pullinig out annuals-and the mums were covered with bee's so i actually got to see her feed!!~i need to check and see if she is still out there today~i have not seen one of these since childhood~i'd say she's about 5~6 inches~absolutely amazed by her ;)

i haven't seen a walking stick in years-you have to have a good eye for one of those:)
i checked my rose bush where i found the praying mantis and i found a egg sac-so i guess there will be more to be seen next year-yea!!
