flurries

yesterday november 9th at 8:31 a.m. i saw the fist snow flurries of the coming season~ to say i am a fool for snow is an understatement:)
i love the way it changes the look of the land~the way it blankets my little corner of the world in silence~ the oh so soft sound it makes when falling~or a good ol'noreaster with whipping snow and winds is fantastic~i see beauty and movement in a good snow drift~children wizzing out of control down a good sledding hill is pure joy~ and a good snow man woman or child just warms my heart:) i am grateful to live in new england where we have the four seasons at their finest~
