almost done......

almost done~not sure what i am going to do next~but i do know that i will have to mount this piece to heavy cardboard when i am done~just like a real puzzle piece~because i did not keep my tension even and the weight of the beads~ its kind of floppy even with the pellon sandwiched between the fabric~but that shouldn't be too hard~still no name yet~i did think of one last nite~but i forgot it already~giggle giggle~oh my mind is a terrible thing to waste ;) the color is to be yellow with 10% contrast which is the chartruse~ but it does look like i used white too but its not~just a very pale yellow ceylon~i have to tell ya that i have enjoyed every stitch of this challenge~thanks noel for a very cool idea!

Oh Tammy - this is sooooo pretty. How long does a piece like this take to construct? How many times do you prick your fingers? How many beads get lost in the carpet? Oh my mind is racing right now!!!

Now that's what I call a header right down to the bee...hehehe!
It's definitely you!
As for your doll...I'm sure it will flop from the weight of the beads but it will be fine when you finish. Backing it with cardboard is a good idea....you may or may not want to cover it first with felt or fabric and then just glue it to the back.
She sure is pretty so far...why don't you name her Sunflower?
