It sounds like you had a memorable time where you grew up!

Hay rides-pumpkin picking-apples-apple donuts...yummy...wollybear caerpillars-corn stalk mazes and a touch of autumn color sounds beautiful to me!

No...it's not awful...just wanting to remember the way it was in your memories! The peaceful and sweet town that it was...is huge! NO...don't think for one minute you shouldn't have gone on Saturday with the rest of the people that were enjoying their day in the country! You were/are there...eating it up/a part of the community...and enjoying and remembering all it has to offer! Just because it has changed doesn't mean you, lucky you, can't see and remember the way it was! It's just new...don't back away girl!

~Keep remember your special days in the country~they are priceless and share any memories you can!!!

XO~Lisa ;-)

P.S. I understand...it's not the same as it used to be in my old stomping grounds either! What used to be farmer's fields...is totally covered with homes, etc.!

I know how sad it can feel...certainly not the same as the good 'ol days!!!
