Oh, so good to see you posting again, Tammy!!! We've all missed you! ;-)

I can't resist a pansy face either...I just love them! NICE mountain-o-mulch!!! LOL...yep, got my shovel...wish we weren't clear across the U.S. from one another...I'd love to help you out! Nice zinnia starts too...haven't planted a seed yet. Sneaking around the neighborhood and snipping any starts for rooting hormone powder yet? Be careful...don't want to hear you are in jail for snippin' around! ~wink~ Looking forward to seeing how the straw bales work out...sounds like a fun experiment.
Oh, I LOVE asparagus, but never have grown it. I don't know why...it grows very well here and it would be worth the treat.

Hope you are having a good day! Hugs to you from a very gray and raining Oregon day...~Lisa ;-)

ooo Tabby nice to see you out in the garden! Tis the season = yippee yeah! There IS something so endearing about pansy faces, it's impossible for me to pick a favorite color combo, your photo is quite wonderful! I'm so glad that is a mulch pile and not ants or something, my first reaction upon seeing it.....must be left over from a bad movie way back when. Great new springy blog header too!!!

That purple center of the pansy looks like a beautiful dress! I've read about the straw bale planting and have always wanted to try it - it's really supposed to produce prolific and healthy plants. I must keep watch to see what goes on with these.

I will be posting pics of my garden this weekend. I have flowers on my tomato and eggplants already - can you believe it??? I'm also growing corn this year.
How fun!

Hope all is well with you dear Tabby. Do take care.
